ATA · Brisbane northside

ATA garage door openers, motors and remotes.

ATA (Automatic Technology Australia) openers are common on northside sectional and roller doors. We repair them, replace remotes and motors, and set them up properly — they reward careful set-up.

What we do with ATA

ATA jobs we do most.

  1. 01

    Remotes

ATA remotes supplied, programmed and cleared from memory when lost.

  2. 02

    Opener repairs

Limits, force, safety beams, boards and drives on ATA units where parts are available.

  3. 03

    Motor replacement

Older ATA units replaced with a suitable opener when they’re genuinely done.

  4. 04

    Set-up and adjustment

ATA units are particular about set-up. Getting limits, force and the door’s balance right is most of the job.

  5. 05

    Servicing

The opener checked and adjusted as part of a full door service.

  6. 06

    Roller and sectional

ATA drum-mounted and rail-mounted units both covered.

ATA, honestly

Good units that like a well-balanced door.

  • Set-up

is most of the job with ATA

  • Door first

checked before the unit is blamed

  • Independent

    not an ATA agent

ATA openers do well on a door that runs freely and is properly set up. A lot of ATA “faults” are the unit correctly refusing to lift a stiff or unbalanced door. We check the door by hand first, then the unit, then the settings — in that order.

Independent, not a dealer.

We're an independent garage door technician — not a dealer, agent or warranty representative for any manufacturer. We service and repair these systems because they're on northside homes, and we know them.

How it works

Straightforward from the first call.

  1. 01

    Tell us what it’s doing

Call or send an enquiry. We'll ask how old the door is, what happened before the fault, and whether anything's been tried.

  2. 02

    We inspect it properly

The whole door system — not just the part that looks broken. Developing wear gets pointed out, not hidden.

  3. 03

    You get the price first

What's wrong, what needs doing now, what can wait. Then the price. No pressure to proceed.

  4. 04

    Fixed, often on the spot

If parts are on the van, the repair is usually done the same visit. If not, we return promptly — generally within a couple of days.

  • Often the unit is reacting to a stiff or unbalanced door, or its force and limit settings have drifted. We check the door by hand and re-set the unit. Sometimes it’s the safety beams.
