Privacy policy

Australian Doorman (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and how you can contact us about it. It is written to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you call, email or use the enquiry form we may collect your name, phone number, email address, suburb, and the details you give us about your garage door, including any photos you send. Our website may also record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, through analytics tools.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange and carry out work, provide quotes and invoices, and keep a record of the work we have done for you. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unrelated to your enquiry without your consent.

Who we share it with

We share your information only where needed to do the job — for example with a supplier when ordering a part for your door — or where required by law. Enquiry form submissions are stored on our website hosting provider’s systems and delivered to us by email.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and to keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above and for our record-keeping obligations.

Access and correction

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us at info@australiandoorman.com.au or on 0408 190 595.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, contact us first and we will do our best to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page.
