Australian Doorman is a small, deliberately local business: one experienced technician working Brisbane's northside from the inner north up to Caboolture, plus the southern bayside, southside and western suburbs. The person you speak to on the phone is the person who turns up, and the person who turns up is the one who's been doing this for more than 25 years.
The approach hasn't changed in that time. Look at the whole door, not just the bit that's broken. Explain what's wrong in plain language — what needs doing now, what can wait. Give you the price before any work starts. And recommend repair where repair is sensible, replacement only when it's genuinely the better option.
Much of the work comes from repeat customers and referrals. That only happens when people feel they were dealt with fairly, so it's the thing we protect most.

01Repair before replacement
If the existing system can reasonably be kept working, that's what we recommend. Replacement is suggested when it's genuinely the better option — not by default.

You'll hear what actually needs doing now, what might need attention later, and nothing you don't need.
03Older systems welcome
Established northside homes often have doors and openers 10–15+ years old. We know them, and we don't write a system off because of its age.
