Car stuck inside
The door won’t open and you need the car. Often a broken spring — the door can usually be opened safely and the repair done the same visit.

Door won’t close or lock
The house can’t be secured. We’ll get the door closed and secure first, then deal with the cause.

Spring has broken
A loud bang from the garage and a door that’s suddenly very heavy. Not safe to operate — we’ll make it safe and replace the spring.

Door has come off its track
Hanging crooked or jammed part-way, often after a knock. Do not try to move it.

Hit by a car
Bent panels and tracks. We make the door safe and stable, then talk through the repair.

Door stuck on the car
A door that has come down on a vehicle, or a car reversed into a partly open door. Leave everything where it is and call.

A stuck door is an inconvenience. A released spring is an injury.
Please don’t cut cables, unbolt brackets or try to lever the door. Lock the internal door if you can, and call — we’ll be straight with you about timing.

We're one technician working Brisbane's northside, which means two things: we're usually close, and we'll tell you honestly on the phone how soon we can get there rather than promising something we can't deliver. If we can't make it as quickly as you need, we'll say so.
Made safe first.
The first job on any urgent call is to make the door safe and, where possible, get the car out or the house secured. The full repair is often done in the same visit — springs, cables and common parts are on the van — but if a part has to be ordered, the door is left safe and secure until we return.
Priced before we proceed, urgent or not.
Urgency doesn't change how we price: you get the diagnosis and the price before any repair work starts. There's no surcharge sprung on you at the end.
