Gliderol · Brisbane northside

Gliderol doors and Glidermatic openers — a large part of what we do.

Gliderol roller doors are everywhere on the northside, many of them 15–25 years old and still worth keeping. We repair the doors, the Glidermatic openers and the remotes, and we know the older generations as well as the current ones.

Gliderol, honestly

Older Gliderol doors are usually worth repairing.

  • Roller

doors are Gliderol’s bread and butter — and ours

  • 15–25 yrs

typical age of the Gliderol doors we keep going

  • Independent

    not a Gliderol agent

A Gliderol roller door from the late 1990s or 2000s is typically structurally sound; it’s the spring, guides and opener that wear. All are repairable and the common parts are on the van. We’ll only recommend replacement when the curtain itself is beyond saving.

Independent, not a dealer.

We're an independent garage door technician — not a dealer, agent or warranty representative for any manufacturer. We service and repair these systems because they're on northside homes, and we know them.

How it works

Straightforward from the first call.

  1. 01

    Tell us what it’s doing

Call or send an enquiry. We'll ask how old the door is, what happened before the fault, and whether anything's been tried.

  2. 02

    We inspect it properly

The whole door system — not just the part that looks broken. Developing wear gets pointed out, not hidden.

  3. 03

    You get the price first

What's wrong, what needs doing now, what can wait. Then the price. No pressure to proceed.

  4. 04

    Fixed, often on the spot

If parts are on the van, the repair is usually done the same visit. If not, we return promptly — generally within a couple of days.

  • Glidermatic units have a learn or code button on the unit; steps vary by generation. If it won’t take, or you don’t have the manual, call and we’ll code it — and bring the right remote if yours is worn.
