Panel repairs · Brisbane northside

Garage door panel repair or replacement — one panel, not a new door.

A dented or bent panel doesn’t mean a new door. Where a matching panel is still made, replacing just that panel is far better value — and where it isn’t, we’ll say so and talk through honest options.

  • Single panels replaced
  • Light dents dressed
  • Honest call on matching

What's usually behind it

How panels get damaged.

  1. 01

    Car impact

The usual one. Bottom panels bowed, creased or split.

  2. 02

    Basketballs, bikes and bins

Dents in the lower panels from everyday knocks.

  3. 03

    Hail and storms

Dimpled panels across the door, or a panel bowed by wind while open.

  4. 04

    Rust

Older steel panels rust along the bottom edge where water sits.

  5. 05

Door run with a broken part

A door forced with a jammed roller or slack cable creases panels at the hinges.

  6. 06

    Hinge cracks

Cracked hinges let panels flex and buckle.

How we approach panels

Dress, replace one, or — rarely — replace the door.

  • Honest

if a new door is genuinely better

Light dents in the panel skin can often be dressed out. Creased or split panels are replaced individually where a matching profile and colour is available. Only when the damage runs across several panels, or the profile is no longer made, does a new door become the honest recommendation — and we’ll show you why.

Matching panels.

Common profiles from the major manufacturers are usually still available, and colours can generally be matched or the panel painted. If your door is an older or discontinued profile, we'll tell you straight.

And the rest of the door.

Panel damage usually comes with track, roller or hinge damage. We check and fix those in the same visit so the new panel runs true.

How it works

Straightforward from the first call.

  1. 01

    Tell us what it’s doing

Call or send an enquiry. We'll ask how old the door is, what happened before the fault, and whether anything's been tried.

  2. 02

    We inspect it properly

The whole door system — not just the part that looks broken. Developing wear gets pointed out, not hidden.

  3. 03

    You get the price first

What's wrong, what needs doing now, what can wait. Then the price. No pressure to proceed.

  4. 04

    Fixed, often on the spot

If parts are on the van, the repair is usually done the same visit. If not, we return promptly — generally within a couple of days.
